Aymen bin Tawfeeq Al Moayyad, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), held a meeting with the Board of Directors of the Academic Excellence Association.

Rawan bint Najib Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, attended the meeting.

Al Moayyad praised the outstanding achievements made by the Association, highlighting its vital role in consolidating the culture of excellence and innovation among Bahraini youth and supporting their academic careers.

The meeting discussed the Association’s achievements since its establishment, including the launch of the official website and the increase in the number of members to 312.

The meeting also reviewed future plans, which include launching the (Ambassadors of Excellence) programme, launching research grants, and developing programmes to boost knowledge exchange and academic skills.

The Association is a civil organisation established in 2024 pursuant to Ministerial Resolution (44) of 2024operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth Affairs. The organization aims to build an effective network that connects academically distinguished Bahraini youth and to promote a culture of excellence and innovation and contribute to national development.
