Youth academic excellence receives considerable attention in the Kingdom of Bahrain, supported through diverse pathways and a positive environment that empowers young individuals to reach the highest levels of achievement. This contributes to supporting the goals of the comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the esteemed King of the country, may God preserve and protect him, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him. They also commended the continuous guidance of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, emphasizing the importance of continuing investment in Bahraini youth as the fundamental pillar of the nation’s future.
This came during the announcement of the Youth Academic Excellence Association regarding the formation of its Board of Directors, following the registration and documentation of the Association’s basic statute summary. The Board of Directors of the Youth Academic Excellence Association was formed as follows:
- Abdulrahman Mohammed Al-Jallal as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Youth Academic Excellence Association.
- Dr. Shaikha Hala bint Ali Al Khalifa as Vice-Chairperson.
- Haneen Hussein Al-Husseini as the Association’s Financial Secretary.
- Fatima Abdullah Al-Otaibi as the Association’s Secretary.
- Ali Khalid Al-Araifi, Member.
- Maryam Adel Al-Moayyed, Member.
- Youssef Fayez Al-Sada, Member.
- Sarah Ali Al-Zayyara, Member.
- Salman Riyadh Al-Arayedh, Member.
On this occasion, Mr. Abdulrahman Mohammed Al-Jallal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Youth Academic Excellence Association, along with the Board Members, expressed their sincere appreciation for the continued support provided by the Ministry of Youth Affairs. They highly valued the ongoing efforts of His Excellency Mr. Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayyed, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and Her Excellency Ms. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, in supporting initiatives that contribute to the advancement of Bahraini youth and fostering an academic environment that promotes excellence and innovation. They affirmed that such support serves as a major motivation to continue working toward achieving the Association’s strategic goals, which will positively reflect on the future of Bahraini youth and the Kingdom’s status in regional and international academic forums.
It is worth noting that the Academic Excellence Association was established under the gracious directives of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa with the aim of building an effective communication network among academically distinguished youth and promoting a culture of excellence through motivational programs that encourage young people to achieve the highest levels of academic performance. The Association also provides an interactive environment that brings together a group of academically outstanding youth, enabling them to exchange knowledge and experiences and develop skills that support their academic journey, in addition to building strategic partnerships with various organizations to enhance youth capabilities and support them in achieving academic excellence.
The Academic Excellence Association was officially registered under Resolution No. (44) for the year 2024, making it one of the leading authorities launched by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, dedicated to supporting educational outcomes and strengthening community partnership in the academic field.
